Credit card security code


The security code is a 3- or 4-digit number that appears either on the front or back of your credit card, depending on the type of card you have. This number helps prevent fraud and increases your security.


Visa, MasterCard or Discovery code Visa, MasterCard or Discover:
the security code is the 3 digits on the back of the card.
American Express code American Express:
the security code is the 4 digits on the front of the card, just above the card number.
